Does Ship Watchers use or sell software?
No. Ship Watchers has its own unique internal network developed by our employees that are former carrier employees and industry professionals.
Does Ship Watchers outsource any of the services offered?
No. Ship Watchers has its own team of auditors, developers, sales and operations personnel. We do not outsource any of our freight auditing services to other parties.
Does Ship Watchers have to work with our carriers directly?
No. If you would prefer to send us your carrier invoices to audit and have us report back to you directly with our findings we are happy to accommodate. However, we have found the freight invoice audit process to be much more efficient if we work directly with the carriers. This will also free up time on your end.
Do you have a way for us to cross-check your freight auditing process?
Yes. You will see the savings and adjustments from our efforts prior to any invoices being paid. In addition, you can monitor the savings or progress at any time online within our portal.
What type of invoices do you accept for auditing?
Ship Watchers accepts any form that you are currently getting your carrier invoice in. We work with electronic data files (.EDI, .CSV, .TXT, etc.), image files (.PDF, .GIF, .JPG, etc.) to paper invoices (Fax, Mail, Scanned).
Do you audit international freight invoices?
Yes. Ship Watchers performs freight invoice auditing on all shipping invoices whether international or domestic.
Do you audit all freight invoices?
Yes. Unlike some freight invoice auditors that will audit only a sample of invoices our services will include an in-depth audit of all your carrier invoices (Small Parcel, LTL, TL, Ocean, Rail, and Air).
Will you perform a back dated freight invoice audit?
Yes. If we are able to obtain the invoices we will perform a back dated adjustment with the carriers. Each carrier is unique on how far back they will accept adjustments. We will do everything we can to get back what funds are rightfully yours.
